Christian Education Update

It has been a warm fall, but the seasons are about to change.  While there is less daylight now so we are inside longer, this means we have more time to play games, read a book, and just be around the ones we love.  Consider attending one of our great Sunday school classes.  There is one to fit everyone.

Here is what is going on in our Sunday School classes:

  • The adult class will continue their book study by Dr. David Jeremiah called The Agents of the Apocalypse, that takes them on a journey through the book of Revelation.
  • “The Kid’s Table” (youth/adult class) will read The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, by Barbara Robinson, and then start Rob Bell’s Nooma series.
  • The children’s class will be learning about God’s promise to us with the birth of His only Son.

The children will begin to practice for the Christmas Eve service.  They will be given parts to memorize as well as practicing Christmas songs.

Children are welcome to come down for Children’s Church.  We welcome all kids 5th grade and younger.  This is a great time for the kids to hear a story, do a craft and have a snack.

Children’s Church Schedule for December:

  • December 6th ‑ Louann Fauska and Nerissa Bertram
  • December 13th ‑ Caroline Overzet and Elena Fryer
  • December 20th ‑ Cal and Christine Popp
  • December 27th ‑ Carol Mueller and Michelle Fisher

Please let us know if you are interested in helping out by teaching or subbing for our classes.
