Spring is almost here which means warmer weather, flowers and green grass. This is a time of new growth in not only nature, but a great time for new and continued growth in God. Consider joining one our classes and enjoy the fellowship of growing together.
In March, the preschool class, taught by Caroline Overzet and assisted by Elena Fryer, will continue to learn about Jesus and His impact on their lives. The elementary class, taught by Jean Schneider and Laurel McKee, will continue with the process of learning the books of the Bible and the wonderful stories they tell. For these two classes, at the beginning of the second and fourth Sundays of the month, Pat Olson guides the children in memorizing the names of the books of the Bible and also leads singing.
Mary Hobbs provides snacks for the children’s classes the first Sunday of each month. Please let us know if you are interested in providing a small snack as well.
Gabrielle Hastings facilitates a blended youth and adult class called “The Kids’ Table”. This class is beta-testing the Mission from the Gospels curriculum developed by Sam Brink and Ron Carlson; the class will begin studying Matthew in March.
The adult class, taught by John Overzet, will be finishing the study of Full Faith by T.M. Moore.

I am happy to be the new Education Ministry Team Leader and look forward to working with all of our wonderful teachers. When I was asked to take this position, I had been praying for some guidance as to what I should do with myself since I am not teaching. Long story short, God answered!!
